So, I obviously haven't blogged in a longgg time, I guess I just never think I have anything to say, but now I figure I should update on my life :-)

We have a new dog and cat since I posted last and we're BUYING A HOUSE!!

We are so excited for it and can't wait to be in OUR OWN place and a place with a backyard!! Our dogs neeeeed it :-)

So we are moving the 15th of May and can not wait, even though moving isn't our favorite thing, even though many of you may disagree since this is our 4th move in our 2 years of marriage :-) We like moving in the way of having new things, but not in the way of having to pack all up again and haul everything away. Tyler hates that part :-) So if anyone that reads this would like to help us move, let me know! :-)

So Emily, Tyler's sister, is in town for the weekend and Tyler and I got to see our new niece, Juliette last night, and she is WONDERFUL! She's so beautiful, and so happy and peaceful. I love her!

AND our nephew Maddox is getting so big! He's so cute and can say Tyler and my names :-) He calls us Tyler and Cole. Very cute! :-) I love when they come in town, but they should probably just move her! K Em?! ;-)

Tyler was holding Juliette before we left for the night, and she fell asleep in his arms. The CUTEST thing in the world! It made us both want a baby :-)

Tom's Shoes

Tyler and I heard about these shoe's called Tom's Shoes from our friends store last year, and they're some of the coolest shoes! Cool looking and a cool message.

I don't know if you have ever heard of these types of shoes, but they're amazing. When you buy a pair of shoes, the Tom's company gives a pair to a child in need of shoes. We thought it was such a great idea and it honestly touched my heart and I felt like it was something we should do, because we not only got a cool pair of shoes :-) but we also get to help out two children!

So I decided I was going to plant strawberries, sunflowers and daises in my little garden, so today I planted my strawberries and I'm going to wait a couple weeks to plant my flowers so the frost won't get them, because we're still having some cold mornings.

Ok... So like I said in my last post, I forgot to take a before picture of the nasty garden that I re-did, so I took a picture of all the stuff that we pulled out and put in the trash and stuff... So here it is! A full trash can, plus 4 trash bags full (one is in the other can).

New House/New Garden!

So, as everyone probably knows, Tyler and I moved in November to a new, cute, wonderful North End house and we're loving it. The past few weeks I've noticed tulips started to come up in the front of my house, so I decided that I wanted to plant more things in the little gardens around where the tulips are blooming. So Tyler and I went to the Flower and Garden show this past weekend at The Grove and I got a great deal on some lilies, at least I think its a great deal, :-) so I bought 20 lilies and planted them in the little spots in the front of my house. Here are pictures after I got them planted and I will post more when they bloom.

So as you can see in those pictures, the tulips are already coming up, and the empty spots are where I put 10 lilies on each side. So I'm hoping that the lilies fill it out really nice!

And these pictures are of a little second on the South side of our house that had a terribly ugly plant in it that looked so old and like it hadn't been taken care of in years. (I'm kicking myself because I forgot to take a before picture) So Tyler and I dug it all up and picked it all out and now it looks so healthy and pretty! I am wanting to plant something there, I just haven't decided exactly what yet. I'm thinking either some cucumbers, zucchini and tomatoes and just filling it with fun flowers. So we'll see. Tyler and I are going to go to the store soon and see what I can find.

I'll post pictures after I get stuff planted and stuff starts to come up. I can't wait :-)

I FINALLY SURPRISED TYLER!!!!

So... I planned a surprise party for Tyler for his "golden birthday" 22 on 22, and I was so nervous that he was going to figure it out, because he ALWAYS figures out the surprises that I plan for him!!

So we had over 30 people respond and say they'd come, so our little house was PACKED with people! But it was so great to walk in to a HUGE SURPRISE and have so many friends, some whom Tyler hasn't seen in years! Tyler was SO shocked!!! It was GREAT!!

Cascade Sledding

Tyler and I went up to my Grandparents cabin in Cascade for the weekend and there was a ton of snow up there, so we went sledding! And my Grandparents have a super long driveway that is really fun to sled down! Here's some pictures! (Even my grandparents went sledding with us! It was awesome!)

It's been a long time since I've posted, I know, but for some reason I couldn't get pictures on my blog anymore after Tyler messed with my computer one day, but then he figured out how to do it again and taught me, so yay :-)

Yay we've successfully moved and it's wonderful!! It was horrible though, because I got the flu 2 nights ago and was up all night (being sick) and then yesterday I had a stomach ache all day, so I couldn't be a very helpful unpacker, because I was really weak, and sick. But finally by the end of the day, I was starting to feel better, so we had a ton of help from lots of people, THANK YOU SO MUCH WHO HELPED!! So that was helpful and today we're going to unpack a bit more and then go over and have a family "thanksgiving/grandmas birthday" at the in-laws, so that should be fun!! So, as soon as I can find where I packed my camera, I will post pictures!!

Longest week of my life!!

So, Tyler and I are moving on Saturday and we're SO excited! BUT... This week has been the LONGEST WEEK OF MY LIFE!! Usually my weeks are really fast, but since I'm looking forward to something really big, the week is dragging!

The good thing though is that the guy that owns the house let us move a bunch of our boxes to the house last Saturday, so we got a path cleared in our apartment so we can walk through it again, because it was beginning to get very full with the boxes, and we've been moving a little each night since then, so at least we get to see it, and every time we go over, we talk about where things are going to go in the house, so thats fun. I just really hope that these next 2 days go by fast cuz I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE!!! :-)

Hello again! Sorry I haven't written a post in awhile, but I can't really think of anything to blog about anymore, but I do still blog... Just not as much :-)

So life is good right now... The babies at work have started to smile this past week and it's wonderful that they are beginning to smile and respond to us talking to them and such. I love it!

Tyler and I are going to Walla Walla, Washington this weekend, because my second cousin Amy and her daughter, who I've never met before, because they live in Paris and I haven't seen Amy in like 6 years, is coming to visit my Great Grandma, so we're going to see her too, cuz Tyler has never met her and I miss her! So I'm very excited for this weekend!

Also, Tyler and my lease is up the end of next month, at our apartment, so we are starting to look and see if we can find a decent priced house to start renting and we found an awesome house that is RIGHT on Boise Ave and we were talking with the owner to see if we could give him the deposit and he would hold it till we could move it, but he decided that he couldn't wait another month, and we found that out this morning, so we were kinda sad, but it's ok, BECAUSE Tyler randomly looked on Craigslist today for houses and we found an AWESOME one, that's in the North End of Boise, which we LOVEEEEE that area; it's our dream area to live in actually :-)

So we went and looked at it tonight and it's wonderful, so we told the guy, that same thing we told the Boise Ave guy, that we could give him the deposit and this guy seemed more ok with that idea and he said he'd get back to us within the week to let us know what he decides. So PLEASE pray for us, that if it's the house for us, he'll call us back with a YES :-) And we really love this house so we're really hoping he picks us!

So yea... That's life for Tyler and us right now. Just thought I'd update you all :-)

Tyler's FIRST Time Carving Pumpkins!

Tonight Tyler and I carved a couple pumpkins each and I found out that it was his FIRST time carving them, so it was a very exciting night :-) We had lots of fun and here are the results!

10 Months!

Today marked Tyler and my 10 month anniversary :-) It's almost been a year since we got married and we can't believe it!

My Brother Jeff's Wedding Weekend in Portland

Tyler and I just got home from a weekend in Portland for my older brother Jeff's Wedding that was on Friday night. We got into Oregon Thursday afternoon and that night my whole family went over to where Jeff and his new wife are now living and saw their new condo and just hung out for a few hours.

Then Friday morning all the grandmas and sisters and mom's and all the girls went shopping :-) at the mall that was right next to the hotel we were staying at and I bought a couple new pairs of shoes, one for Tyler and one for me, and I also bought a pair of pants from AE and a really cute day planner that I saw at Starbucks of all places. Tyler and all the guys went golfing that morning while we were all shopping and they had lots of fun doing that.

Then after I was done shopping and Tyler was done golfing, Tyler and I went to IKEA!! Yay! It was the FIRST time I'd been there, and him too, and I LOVEDDDD it. It was a long time coming going there and it was just as good as I imagined it would be! I wish we had one here :-( Maybe someday :-)

Then that night was the wedding and it was a LONGGG wedding/party and we were very tired when it was all over, but it was beautiful and very wonderful! I love weddings.

Then Saturday morning Tyler and I woke up and drove over to his sister Emily's house and we hung out with her, her husband Kyle and their cute, cute, cute son Maddox :-) We love seeing all of them, so it was really good to be able to have time to while we were over there! We had breakfast with them and then we all went to a pumpkin patch and picked some pumpkins and just hung out and watch Maddox run around and be cute :-)

Then after we were done hanging out with them, Tyler and I and my family went to the Portland Zoo and hung out there for a few hours, which was really fun too!

Then we all went to dinner at the yummy Macaroni Grill and then went back to our hotel and crashed from a very long and very busy couple of days, but it was a very fun weekend!

Leavin' for Oregon

My older brother Jeff is getting married on Friday night, so Tyler and I and my brother Mark and my sister Emily are all headed to Portland tomorrow morning and I'm super excited because I LOVE weddings and I LOVE Portland. Yay :-)

Tyler and I are also going to be able to see Tyler's sister Emily and Kyle and Maddox on Saturday morning and we're very excited about that too! :-) I think we're going to go to a pumpkin patch and pick pumpkins. Fun fun!

Then Saturday afternoon my whole family (except for Jeff and his bride of course) are going to go hang out maybe at the Portland Zoo or something fun all together, which will also be super fun!

And then Saturday night we are going to go, hopefully, hang out with our friend Josh, who's from here, but just moved to Portland a couple months ago. So we're going to hang a busy day on Saturday, but it's going to be very fun! :-)

So that is what's going on tomorrow till Sunday and I'm bringing my camera, so I will post pictures when I get back! :-)

It's Been Awhile...

So I know it's been awhile since I've blogged. I've honestly not been able to think of anything to write about, so I just thought I'd write about my life lately :-)

Tyler and I started a marriage class a few weeks ago and we LOVE it! It's called Dynamic Marriage and we're taking it through our church, The Vineyard, and it's a pretty intense class, we share with the class each week and the homework can be pretty intense, but Tyler and I love it! We've already learned so much from it and it's already growing our marriage, so it's great! :-)

Work has been going great lately! The babies are a little over 2 months old now, and they're beginning to act like "normal" babies. Crying more, and at the same time (grr) being awake more and just starting to interact with me and others around more, which is fun! :-) But they are wonderful, I wouldn't change my job for anything! It's such great experience and when I have my own it's going to be a piece of cake! It'll feel like I'm having my 3 child and I'm already an expert haha.

Um... My sister-in-law and nephew are in town right now and we had a family dinner last night and I love seeing both of them! Maddox is getting SO big and he's so fun and cute! :-) I wish they lived here, so I could see them more! Maybe soon?! ;-)

Tyler and I are going to go see the move Fireproff tomorrow night and we're really excited cuz we got to see a few clips from it at a marriage conference we went to a few months ago an it looks so good, so we're really anxious to see the whole thing!

Also, Tyler and I have been working Wednesday night child care at our church and we're lovin that too :-) I think it might stress Tyler out a little bit, cuz there's so many of them hehe but we do love it. We work in the 1 1/2-3 year old class and the kids are so fun. :-)

I guess that's all that's going on right now... Hope my blog didn't bore you, but like I said, I can't think of anything to blog about anymore lol

9 Months!

Tyler and I have been married for 9 months today! I know most of the people that read my blog have been married for years and years, and 9 months isn't that long, BUT for Tyler and I 9 months sounds crazy to us!

So tonight Tyler and I are going to the movie Burn After Reading, which I'm so excited to see cuz I've heard that its hilarious, so hopefully what I've heard is correct. Has anyone seen it yet??

Sad Day

Tyler and I have been married for almost 9 months now and we've never spent a night apart, and tonight we will spend our first night apart :-(

My brother Jeff is having his bachelor party in McCall this weekend and Tyler and my other brother Mark are driving up there this morning to spend the day, night and tomorrow up there, so I'll be all alone. It'll be weird, but good :-) I like doing stuff on my own too!

Baby Update

Today was the first full day that I worked with the new baby twins that came home from the hospital Friday. They are wonderful... I can't even tell you how much I love being at work. They're very, very good babies and they honestly didn't cry one today. They just fussed a bit before feedings, but honestly that was it! Awesome huh! :-)

I held them for most of the day, because now that the mom isn't on bed rest anymore she has time to play with her 3 year old, which she has been looking forward to doing for the past 5 months, but hasn't been able to.

I changed my first poopy diaper today and got to feed the little boy a bottle today. I love love love it :-)

Ugh I Hate My Hair

I have to show you two pictures. These pictures are compairing how LAME my hair is. I dyed it really dark brown about 3 or 4 months ago and look at it now. It fades SOOO fast and I hate it! Every color I've dyed it the past 3ish years its faded within months! I don't know what to do with it anymore :-( The second picture is the most recent picture of my hair that I have. Good Eatin'

So Tyler and I have been eatin' gooood the past couple days. I get a magazine once a month from my mother-in-law, which I LOVEEE, and it has great recipes in it! So I ripped out a few from last months mag and made 3 of them so far and they've turned out SOOO good! They've seriously tasted like restaurant food! (not to brag or anything) hehe

The first night we made spaghetti with broccoli and lemon and that was DELICIOUS and the next night we made honey chicken with grilled corn salad, that had corn, scallions, and butter in it and that was even more DELICIOUS and tonight we made, well Tyler made it for me, he surprised me with havin it almost done when I got home from work, which was VERY nice of him :-) but he made cheese ravioli with sauteed zucchini, and of course it was DELICIOUS too! I can't believe how well all three of those meals turned out, but Tyler and I can't wait to make them again and again!! :-) And they're only 20 minute meals too, which is really nice after comin home from work and having to make dinner. I love it!

I just ate yogurt and I put dry oatmeal in it and it was VERY good. I was looking for granola to put in my yogurt, but we didn't have any, so I tried the oatmeal, and I loved it. Soooo... if you don't have granola and you have yogurt and oatmeal, TRY IT! :-)

I know, I know, I haven't written a post in almost a week... Sorry :-) I honestly haven't really had anything interesting to write about, so I haven't. But my week has been great, I can't believe its almost the weekend again! My weeks FLY by even faster with my new job now, who knows why, but they do, and its great! :-) Tyler and I are going to a marriage conference on Saturday and I'm super excited, and I think (hope) he is too ;-) I LOVE going to conferences and classes about things, especially marriage and such, because I love learning new things and getting advice from people who have been married longer than Tyler and I have been. So I'm really looking forward to Saturday.

Tyler and I have also been riding our new bikes lots lately and playing frisby golf as much as we can too, so we've been having lots of fun doing our new hobbies :-) But other than that, nothin has really changed. But I just thought I would update you on my life, since I haven't written in awhile. :-)

Oh... And I got paid today... That always makes the day a good one ;-)

Woohoo New Toys

So Tyler and I both sold our wakeboard's a couple days ago, so we decided that we can get new bikes to ride long distances and today we each got one. Yay! Here's mine :-)

I didn't get the red one that I wrote about in my last blog, cuz they never called us back, so Tyler actually found this one on craigslist today and it was cheaper too, so we did good :-)

New Bike Time

We both have cruisers right now and have for over a year now and they're super fun to ride, but I have always wanted to go on longgg bike rides, but the cruisers aren't very comfortable to ride for long periods of time, well I don't mind it as much as Tyler does.

So... we've been thinking about getting road bikes, so we can ride on the Greenbelt for long periods of time, like I've been wanting to for a long time. So here's a picture of one that Tyler found today for me and I really like and hope to buy it.

And don't worry (Shelley), we're NOT going to sell our cruisers, we love them to much and still will ride them around town lots :-)

BUTTTTT... If anyone can find this amazing bike anywhere, I WILL buy it and make Tyler ride it with me :-) (I found this picture on the front pg of my bank website) Haha

Baby Update!

Well... My nanny family had their little twins Friday night!! Horray :-) I found that out right when I got to work this morning. I guess they're both doing very well, just having a little trouble breathing, with is normal, cuz they're only barley 34 weeks old, but other than that no complications. I can't wait to see them! I guess they're not going to be able to come home for a few weeks, so until then, it's just me and Jack :-) which is very fun! But I can't wait to be able to work with babies every day!!

Work's 'Bout to Get Crazy

Busy Weekend

It's been a busy, but SHORT weekend, and I don't like weekends like this very much. Ugh :-(

Friday night Tyler and I went out to Nampa for my friend Tiffany's wonderful baby Mya's 1st birthday party and it was so cute! I wish I would've taken pictures at it to post, but I didn't, sowey :-(

Then Saturday morning I had to go to a CPR/First Aid class for my nanny job (cuz we have to be certified to work with children) and I was actually not looking forward to it cuz it was a 8 hour class, but I actually really enjoyed myself! CPR/First Aid classes are SO helpful and teach you SO much! I would recommend taking a class if you haven't ever! Tyler and I are going to try and get into an infant CPR class soon to learn about that because infant CPR and adult CPR is a lot different!

So after my class Tyler and I headed out to my old nanny families house because they wanted to have us over to thank me for all of my hard work with working with their 3 wonderful boys for a year and a half, so that was really fun! They made us amazing grilled shrimp, and AWESOME steak and beans and rice. It was probably the best dinner I have had in a longggg time! So good! But I already knew it was gonna be good cuz my old boss is a GREAT cook! While we were there we play RockBand, and I played it for the first time and ACTUALLY LIKED IT! Hahaha I never thought I would like it, but low and behold, I did and of course it made Tyler VERY happy :-) He wanted me to say that if anyone would like to buy it for us, go ahead ;-) And I just said haha ya right.

Anyways.... lol.... Saturday was a long day, but it was very fun!

Then onto Sunday, Tyler and I went to church this morning, which we loved because our pastor was SO funny this morning haha. It was great! Then we actually sold Tyler's car today, horray!! We came home after church and posted his car on Craigslist and, no joke, literally 20 minutes after posting it, someone called wanting to buy it, so we figured out everything that we needed to do to sell it and finally sold it after like 3 hours of getting everything figured out. So yayyyyy! THEN we went to a going away party for our friends Karl and Stacy, but we only stayed for a bit cuz we still had MORE stuff to do lol. But we're now FINALLY just relaxing and watching tv. Boy what a busy weekend, but overall it was a really great weekend and I hope this week of work is great and goes by FAST so the weekend will come again :-)

I've Missed You All!

Sorry I haven't written a stickin' blog in A WEEK! My bad :-) I've been super busy this past week. I started my new job and I'm still getting used to everything, because I DON'T LIKE CHANGE VERY MUCH, if you didn't know me well enough to know that. It takes me a while to get used to new things, even things as simple as getting a new job, it just takes me a while to adapt... sometimes a long while too. Jobs are very important to me too, and if I don't like my job it honestly effects pretty much everything in my life. I really do like my job, the family is great and the little 3 year old is great and I can't wait for the mom to have her twins in only a few weeks, but I've just had a hard time adjusting. I've get pits (stomach aches) in my stomach when I wake up before I go to work, but then when I go to work, I really enjoy being there, but then it's the same story the next morning. I hate it! So please just pray that I will adjust FAST to this family and stop getting stomach aches, cuz there's NO reason that I should be feeling like this and I HATE feeling like it!! :-)

Tyler and I are going over to their house and they're going to make us dinner to say thank you to me for all my help with the over the past year and a half, so I can't wait to see them then! :-)

First Day of Work

I had my first day of work today and it was wonderful! The little 3 1/2 year old boy Jack that I work with is so cute and fun and wonderful and I love playin with him. I only worked 12-5 today, so tomorrow is my first 8 hr day with them and I can't wait. Jack and I are gonna go swimmin. ANDDDD I can't wait for the mom's babies to be born! I can't wait to be around babies very day!!!

11 Years

Today is the 11 year anniversary of when my mom died. It's a sad day for me, as it is each year, but its been a good 11 years of growing and becoming stronger from when it happened. It's so weird to think that it has been 11 years though... I miss my mom every day and can't wait to see her again someday in Heaven! :-)

Bike Riding

So Kevin and Shelley, my new brother and sister-in-law, sold us some sweet bikes last year and Tyler and I love riding them around downtown Boise and such. I've now talked Tyler into going on longgg bike rides with me, which is really fun! Thursday night we rode our bikes uptown to the V-Com house up on Ustick for Amy's going away party and it took us about 25- 30 minutes to get there, and that was really fun. And then this morning we rode our bikes all the way up to the mall. I didn't think I'd be able to talk Tyler into doing it but I finally did. He said if we could get lunch at the mall he'd do it, so I said yes and we went :-) It took us like 45 minutes or an hour to get there, but it was so fun! It was pretty hot today so we got pretty sweaty, but I don't really mind because it was so much fun and pretty awesome that I could talk my husband into going on TWO long bike rides with me, because he likes riding them around town on short rides, cuz his butt starts to hurt after a little while. :-) Hmmm I wonder what I will be able to talk him into next ;-) When food's involved, I'm sure I can talk him into anything! Mwahahaha

I was supposed to hear from the nanny family I interviewed with by last night, but they ended up calling me, so I got a little sad and stressed last night, because I only have 3 more days of work with my current nanny family. The mom of this new family said she would call me wether they want to hire me or not, but they didn't call me at all. So even if they don't want to hire me, I would at least like to hear from them and have them let me know they don't want me, so I can start to look for another family to interview with, because currently I'm kind of in limbo and I don't like it. I ended up having my interview with that new nanny family last night and it went REALLY well. They seemed to really like me and everything went just wonderful! They said they will call my by Tuesday night to let me know if they want to hire me or not, and if they decide not to, then I'm going to take it as a sign that this isn't the right family for me and try not to be bummed. They interviewed me and one other girl, so it's between us. So please just be praying for me and if this is the right family, that they will hire me and I won't be without work as of this coming Friday anymore :-)

I Did it Again!

I hurt my toe AGAIN! We got home from McCall last night and I opened the freezer and a frozen thing of meat fell out of our freezer right on my big toe. I cried a little, not as much as the first time though, but I still cried a little. Here's a picture, it looks a lot worse than my baby toe.

I also took a couple pictures from our McCall trip, mainly of Maddox because he's SO stinkin' cute and I'm so happy that I got to see him and Emily every day that they were here this time! It was awesome! And there's also one of Tyler with Maddox, after Tyler did Maddox's hair :-)

Ok, I was contemplating on whether or not to write this post, but I decided that it was just to funny to not share with everyone, even though you might think Tyler and I are pretty dumb after you read it...... oh well :-)

Ok, so we were getting ready to leave for work this morning, and my keys weren't on my key hook. So I kinda started to look around and we opened the door and low and behold, my keys were still in the lock OUTSIDE our apartment door! When we got home last night and unlocked the door, I left my keys in the lock and closed the door. Oh my word! So I said PRAISE THE LORD no one broke into our house or stole our car. So we laughed a lot about it this morning and I said "Tyler we can't tell anyone that this happened. Its so ridiculous and embarrassing!" But then about a minute later, I decided that I had to blog about it, cuz its really funny. And then I thought to myself, I would only NOT blog about it, if our car was stolen or something, but since nothing happened, I'm definitely gonna blog! Ohhhhhh Boy....

So... I broke my baby toe AGAIN tonight, or sprained or whatever, but it feels broken. Anyways, here's the story...

I was making dinner and Tyler and I were playing the Wii as our dinner was cooking and I went into the kitchen to check the potatoes that were boiling. As I was walking over to the kitchen, I SLAMMED my baby toe into Tyler's wake board that is sitting in the middle of the floor, along with mine. (The reason our wake boards are in the middle of

the floor, is because we picked them up on Saturday from the Pro Shop, because they didn't sell, and we are lazy and haven't put them away yet). Anyways, right after I slammed my baby toe on Tyler's wake board, I proceeded to fall to the ground and started to weep. Yes WEEP! Not cry, or just shed a tear, I wept! It hurt pretty bad, but not as ba

d as how bad I was crying. My body just instantly wanted to cry, very hard. So I did, for about 5 minutes. And then I thought I was done, and then proceeded to weep again for about another 5 minutes. Tyler laughed and laughed, cuz, I have to admit, it was pretty funny how hard I was crying and I couldn't help it or stop. So thats what happened a bit ago, and I thought I would share it with everyone. As yes, its ok to laugh while you read this, because it's a pretty funny story :-)

I made Tyler take a couple pictures of my poor toe, so you can see how red it is, and it's getting swollen and kinda purple now, and by tomorrow it will probably be even more swollen and purple. Yippee ;-)

6 Month Anniversary

Nanny Family Opportunity

So I might have a nanny family opportunity for me real soon. Its a family with a 3 year old boy and a mom who stays at home on bed rest, who is expecting twins sometime in the summer. The mom wants a nanny to help her with the 3 year old and then with her twins when they are born. I think it would be perfect for me because I have had experience with a 3 year old with the family that I am currently working with, and I really want to work with babies, so I would be able to get both age groups that I love. So please just pray for me and if this family is right for me, for them to love me and hire me and for it to be wonderful! I have worked as a nanny for a family with a stay at home mom before, and it was not a good situation, so I'm hoping that this mom is a lot better than the last family. I'll keep you updated, but just pray pray pray, cuz I REALLY want this family!! :-)

This morning I found out that I'm going to be no longer working with my nanny family as of June 27th. My boss told me this morning that he is going to have to sell his smoothie place because of some money complications, so he will no longer have a job, so they will no longer need me. I'm so sad :-( Its just so hard working with kids for almost a year and a half and then all of a sudden not be able to see them every day. Please just pray for me that I'll be able to find another nanny family to work with SOON, so that I can start with them right after I finish with my current nanny family. I hardly ever let myself get stressed out about money issues, but with losing my job, it starts to make me worry how long its going to be until I get a new job. So please pray that I will get into another nanny family fast and that the next nanny family I get will be just as amazing as the family I have right now. I am in love with the 3 little boys I watch and its going to be very hard to say good bye to them.

Tyler bought me a new car last night, well technically its both of our money, but we like to say that he bought it because he did all the process with the dealer and the credit union, ect. So it was VERY nice that I didn't have to do any of the work for once, cuz buying a car isn't fun. I loveee it so much!! :-) Here it is! We call it my "sporty mom car" cuz we're gonna keep this car for a long time, so I'll be a mom driving it. And I kinda look like a mom right now with my nanny job, so its perfect ;-)

So I'm mad! Cuz my friend Elyce and I were gonna go on a long walk on the greenbelt tonight, but I guess those plans are canceled, unless the storms goes away fast. Who knows. Oh well. But my friend Lisa and I hung out earlier, when the weather was NICE, and we went on a bike ride to downtown and we went to Starbucks and got a drink and sat outside and talked for awhile, so that was fun. So at least one good thing happened today :-)

Horrible Horrible Weekend!

So this weekend was probably the worst weekend of my life. Well most of the weekend. I went to the Beth Moore conference with my mother in law Kathy Friday night and Saturday morning and that was great! But then after that the rest of the weekend was terrible! Our air conditioning in our apartment DOES NOT WORK and it is terrible! For whoever doesn't live in Boise, it was about 90-95 degree's this weekend and it was probably about 80-85 degrees in our apartment. Ugh. We were going to go talk to the people in the office about it this weekend too, but when we got a chance to go over there on Saturday, they were already closed, and Sunday it was closed all day. So Tyler is going to call them today and see what is going on. I am really nervous that our air conditioning is just terrible and old and just doesn't get very cold and that that's how its going to be alllll summer. So if that's the case, we'll probably move! :-) Tyler and I were SO cranky this weekend and we really wanted to kill ourselves. But we made it through and we're really looking forward to Wednesday through the weekend, because the temperature is supposed to go down into the 60's and 70's. Horray!

Another thing that made the weekend terrible was, yesterday I woke up with a HORRIFIC migraine! It was the worst headache that I have ever had and it even made me cry at one point because it got so bad! So I woke up at 7 the first time, but I went back to sleep like 8 different times and finally woke up at 1 and it was gone. But then it started to come back throughout the day. Ugh. And with the heat of our apartment is was not a good day. But finally by the evening it was good. Thank goodness!

So there's my terrible weekend story. PLEASE pray that our air conditioning IS broken and we can get it fixed and live through the summer!

Tyler's silly sun burn lines

Ugh. The air conditioning in Tyler and my apartment doesn't work very well AT ALL! It blows out cool air, not COLD air which we need!! We don't know if its broken, or if thats as cool as it gets, or if its just taking its precious time getting use to blowing out cold air instead of hot air, or what, but its not very fun sitting in a warm apartment! I really hope its broken though, so they can fix it and we can live through a hot summer without wanting to kill ourselves ;-)

Dead, dead, dead... my flowers are DEAD. Well not all of them, but my tulips are dead and my other yellow and white flowers are dead ( I don't know what those ones are called). But my hanging plant and my pansys and my purple flowers are still hangin in there. I don't know what happened to my tulips or my yellow and white ones. Anyone know what I did wrong? I watered them once a day and then they died. Hmmm...

Boise Farmers Market

The Boise Farmers Market is back and I love it! Tyler and I rode our bikes to it this morning and walked through it. We left our money at home though, so we didn't get to buy anything, but we say lots of things that we wished we could've bought! They had yummy jams and salsa that we wanted to buy. And they had an extremely cute/cool bird feeder that I really wanted to buy, and probably will buy when we go to it next time. It was made out of an old wine bottle that was turned upside down and then it had wood behind it. It was very cool! And if I do end up buying it I will put a picture up of it :-)

I ordered 3 pairs of Gaucho Pants from Target.com last week and they came today and I'm a very happy girl! :-) I got a pink pair, a grey pair and a charcoal pair. Horray horray! If you don't know what gaucho pants are... they are the most AMAZING pants in the world! Well, I guess they're capri's, but same difference. They are perfect for warmer weather and they are EXTREMELY comfortable and very good to wear to my nanny job. If you're a girl and don't have a pair, you should probably see about getting some. I have 4 pairs :-)

I'm dyeing my hair dark dark brown today and I'm sort of scared. I really wanted to just go all out and do it black, but I chickened out at the last minute because I knew if I dyed it dark dark brown, I could always go to black if I wanted to, but if I did black, I couldn't change it if I didn't like it, so yes, dark dark brown it is... for now.

I had my hair dark dark brown awhile ago, but my hair would never keep the color and it would fade very fast into a really nasty weird red/orange color. So I gave up with dyeing my hair for awhile to just let it grow out and let it regain its strength and allow it to get healthy. So Tyler and I are gonna take another shot at it today and I hope that it holds the color for a long time and is very pretty. Wish me luck! :-)

Lisa's Bachellorette Party

So... my friend Lisa is getting married next month and she had her bachellorette party last night, which was a BLAST! I was kinda nervous to go in the first place, because she said I would only know a few girls that were there, because most of them were going to be NNU girls that she went to school with. But I turned out to be so much fun and I got to know everyone and they are all fun and great! I also got to hang out with my friend Kylee, whom I haven't gotten to hang out with in quite some time. Miss you Kylee! :-)

So yea... bachellorette parties are very fun! And Lisa's was probably the most fun one I have ever been too! And she made out SO good with the presents she got! Oh man! Way better than I did! I'm very jealous!

Not Very Happy...

I am NOT happy with the weather and how frequently it changes! I know Idaho does this every year in the beginning of Spring, but I forget each year and then hate it each time it happens. Last weekend it was in the upper 70's, which I LOVED and was SO happy about! And this weekend is supposed to be 50's on Saturday and then 40's on Sunday!! UGH!! I hate it very very much, for many reasons. One: that I can't be outside basking in the sun, Two: that I have to bring my flowers inside so they don't die, but then they can't grow as fast inside and Three: because the cold just sucks! Grr grr grr! But yesterday was great weather and today is supposed to be even nicer, so I will just have to soak it all in, cuz its not supposed to be in the 60's again until the end of next week. Sad sad day :-(

So Tyler had his first lacrosse game that he reffed tonight and it was at Ann Morrison Park, which is basically the backyard of our apartments, for those who didn't know, so I rode my bike over to watch him tonight, which by the way, it was FREEZING outside this evening, holy crap! So... my mother-in-law Kathy and I went to Jo-Ann's Fabric tonight and we got some fabric to make myself my first dress! I'm very excited! It's a very pretty lite green fabric with a pretty print on it. :-) Here is a picture of what the dress is gonna look like (minus their fabric). Its the dress on the top right, the one that kinda looks like a zebra print. I love it, and it has buttons on the straps, which is my FAVORITE part of any dress I've ever seen or bought! So I can't wait to begin to make it and I can't wait to wear it!! :-)

The Warm Weather is Coming!

This morning was wonderful... I don't work until noon on Mondays, so I have the morning to do whatever, and I usually make a crock pot meal for Tyler and I to eat for dinner. Anyways... I went out on our porch this morning and it was WARM! So I sat outside on our chair for a bit and soaked it in and I imagined my porch covered with flowers that I am planning on buying in a couple of weeks. I want to buy a hanging flower plant, a couple of pots to plant flowers in to set on the floor and a couple of flower "things" to hang on the side of the railing with flowers in them. It makes me happy to know that I can buy those in a couple of weeks :-) I've never had my own little "garden" before and its my way of making myself happy until we move into a house and I can have a BIGGER garden with flowers and veggies and stuff growing in it! :-)

So after I came back inside this morning, I opened a bunch of windows and just enjoyed the morning :-)

AND this weekend is supposed to be even more warm! Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be 70 degree's!! Yay! I'm gonna go crazy :-)

Tyler and I have just woken up and it is a BEAUTIFUL day in McCall, freezing of course, about 18 degree's, but beautifully sunny and wonderful. Last night was way fun! We got up to my Aunts condo at about 7 and we had a great drive up. We left Boise at 4 and ate dinner at Grandma's in Cascade, which was wonderful of course. Whoever hasn't eaten there before has GOT to try it!

It rained for a bit on the way up to Cascade and then stopped when we got to Grandma's. And then it was pretty sunny on the way up to McCall. When we arrived in McCall it started to snow like a blizzard haha, it was weird! Went from sun to snow in like 10 minutes. AND THEN it started to lightning and thunder hahaha. Even weirder. That subsided after awhile. Tyler and I had a great night sitting by the fire, watching tv and then we played guitar and sang for awhile, then went to bed. A very relaxing night and today is going to be wonderful. My parents are going to get up here at about 11 and then we're going to go walk to downtown McCall, which is only about a 5 minute walk from my Aunts condo. And then Tyler and I are going to go ice skating at some point today. It's going to be a great day and I'm so happy it's sunny! :-)

Tyler and I are going up to my Aunts condo this weekend in McCall and I'm very excited! Tyler and I have been wanting to get away on a little "vacation" for awhile, so this is gonna be very good! We're gonna go ice skating and just spend time with my parents, who are coming up tomorrow. We'll take pictures and I'll post them when we come home Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone! :-)

Random, Funny Story

So... Since Tyler and I have been wearing glasses for awhile now, we're pretty used to them and even sometimes forget we have them on. Yesterday I was getting in the shower at around 1030 after having my glasses on for a few hours already, and as I stepped in the shower, I realized that I could see things in the shower more clearly than normal. Weird. Oh boy... I left my glasses on, in the shower, HA! What a idiot I am lol. So here's where it gets even funnier... Tyler got in the shower this morning after he had his glasses on for about 30 minutes while he was watching tv waiting for me to get done getting ready, and he stepped in the shower, and all of a sudden he was like oh crap! Hey come get my glasses! So I walked into the bathroom and noticed that he did the EXACT same thing as I did yesterday! HAHAHA! It was very funny! We're pretty weird.

So, Tyler and I discovered tonight that we sing really well together AND I discovered that I sound pretty darned good singing myself! Tyler recorded me singing a Colbie Caillat song and I was very pleased at how I sounded, and no I'm not trying to brag :-) I just never knew I sounded like I did!

Anyways... Tyler and I have found a new wonderful thing to do together and we love it! Yay! Ohhh and it will be our new form of income too ;-) hehehe just kiding just kiding!! But we are gonna start playing and singing at an Art Gallery, so we're very excited for that. Yay!!

Hair Cut/Fun Night w/ Elyce

So I got my hair cut last night, well trimmed, from my very good friend Elyce :-) And we took some pictures so I could of course blog about it ;-) You can't really tell that its really any shorter because my hair looks like crap before and after haha. But non the less, I had to post about it anyways. I had a very fun night with Elyce. We ate yummy BLT sandwiches and talked and she cut my hair and then we watched the stupid TWO HOUR finale of the Apprentice, which I thought was only ONE HOUR long, so it was very boring! Huh Elyce! :-) But it was still very fun to spend some time with my wonderful friend!!

So Tyler called Kay Jewelers this morning to try and fight the $100 charge we got on fixing my wedding ring and he totally got it taken off and he said it was easy too! He just asked for the manager and told her that I hadn't started wearing it until the middle of December so how would we of known to bring it in for its inspection and he said that the manager totally agreed with him and took the charge off as easy as that. Hooray!

Missing Diamond :-(

So this morning while I was at work, I looked down at my rings and I noticed that one of my diamonds on my wedding band was missing!! Oh my goodness, I was so sad, and still am. So I took it into Kay Jewelers because we have a warranty on my rings BUT the stupid store didn't replace it for free because I hadn't gotten my wedding band checked to make sure the diamonds were all set in there strong and everything for the 6 month inspection like it needed, which was supposed to be inspected in November, SO I have to pay $100 bucks to replace the diamond. And if I would've got the ring inspected, it would've been free. Ugh. It's just dumb because why would I get a ring inspected that I've never warn before?? So Tyler is going to try and fight it, since I'm not very good at doing things like that. So hopefully we won't have to pay it!! Go Tyler!!
